This seminar will focus on the youth development methodology of the world’s premier football club, FC Barcelona. The FREE course will consist of both theoretical and practical demonstration. All coaches, players and interested persons are welcome and may register by email to soccergm@bigpond.net.au

December 21st, 2009and Assistant National Technical Director Alistair Edwards will be conducted in Lismore on Friday 22nd January and Saturday 23rd January 2010. In addition, a coaching seminar presented by Ruben Della from the Barcelona Escola in the Middle East will follow on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th January. Training Ends this Week! – Poor ground condition
December 9th, 2009Please be advised that the final training day for pre Christmas training for all Rep and Development squads will be THURSDAY 10TH DECEMBER.
This is due to the rapid deteriation of the Riverview Park pitch during this very dry spell.

November 23rd, 2009U10 North training for tonight (Monday 23rd November) has been cancelled.
All other training will be going ahead.
Senior Licence Coaching Course – January 2010
November 18th, 2009Northern NSW Football will be conducting a Senior Licence Coaching Course in January 2010.
This course is based on the new Community Coach Education Syllabus and will be the first of the new courses to be delivered in Northern NSW.
The course targets coaches who are coaching at adult level (over 17).
Under the new system, a coach simply has to know what age-group he or she is coaching and apply for the appropriate age-specific course.
Furthermore, the Youth and Senior courses have been divided into two parts. The content has been designed specifically so that a coach at the grassroots level can attend just the first part and have the basic understanding of how to work with his/her players.
Coaches who go on and attend the second part will have a greater understanding.
Both parts are attendance-only, non assessment courses.
To gain a Licence, after attending both parts, a coach must request and pass an assessment.
In Armidale both Senior Certificate 1 and 2 will be delivered, for those living outside of the area, accommodation packages are available at the University of New England complex.
Head of Community Football Education, Norm Boardman, will be in attendance for the duration of the course.
