Sundays Tursa Premier League fixture between Lennox Head and Workers FC is set to produce some fireworks with both sides looking to capitalize on other results over the weekend.

With Lennox sitting in 2nd place on the ladder any slip up by leaders Byron Bay will give the Sharks the chance to jump to the lead. Workers on the other hand will be desperate to stay in touch with the leaders as another loss here will open the door for the top four sides to put some more distance between them.Workers will host Lennox at Richards Oval from 2.30pm Sunday.Goonellabah face a tough encounter against the inconsistent Maclean with both sides coming off less than flattering results last week. The Bobcats lost further ground on the leaders when they went down to Thistles 4 – 2 while the Hornets struggled to grab a draw against local rivals Italo Stars. Weston Park will be the venue for this challenge from 3.00pm Saturday.

Richmond Rovers should have the easier game this week when they travel to Casino, but with a 5.00pm kickoff and the Cobras at home Rovers will not want to be complacent.

Lismore Thistles will be hoping to catch Byron Bay napping when the Rams travel to town. Byron was lucky to get away with the three points against Workers FC last week while Thistles will go into the game with a lot of confidence after their win away to Maclean.

This should be a tense affair at Thistles #1 from 3.00pm

In the remaining fixture Italo Stars will travel to Saunders Oval, Ballina for a 5.00pm start, where both teams will be desperate to get away from the relegation zone.
