Tweed Heads & Souths beneficiaries of weekend draw.

Tweed Heads and South Lismore look the most likely teams to gain maximum benefit from this weekends First Division fixtures.

With both sides firmly ensconced in the top five wins against their less fancied rivals will see them gain some ground over their rivals Bangalow and Burringbar.

Tweed will travel to second last Uki in a match that should go their way if hey can recover from the midweek draw to Bangalow on Wednesday night. Souths as a result of the catch up game between Tweed and Bangalow have dropped to fourth but with the visit of cellar dwellars Hammers the three points should see them close the gap on leaders Burringbar.

The Bandits face a tricky fixture against Alstonville who are desperate for the three points to extend the differential between themselves and the rest of the table.

Bangalow will also face a difficult game as they meet Woodburn who like Alstonville need to pick up the points to stay in touch with the top five.

In the remaining games Tumbulgum will tackle Saints, and Pottsville will host Kingscliff in two local derbies sure to bring out the best of all concerned.
