Top Five in First Division should ease through this weekend
League leaders Burringbar and second placed Tweed Heads should ease through their First Division fixtures on Saturday and further cement their hold on the coveted promotion spots to the Tursa Premier League.
Facing Woodburn and Tumbulgum respectively both outfits should have too much class for their mid-table opposition.
Likewise for Bangalow and South Lismore who face Hammers and Kingscliff. Souths did struggle last time, but alot has changed since then and Kingscliff find themselves in the bottom three now.
Fifth placed Alstonville should also pick up the three points when they host second last Uki who are yet to trouble anyone this year.
The match of the round looks like it wil be the Saints versus Pottsville fixture as both sides have an outside chance at reaching the top five if they can continue to improve. Pottsville started the season on fire but have had a poor run of results and now sit in mid table, while for Saints they have shown some promise and knocked off a few of the top five teams but are yet to really string together an impressive run of results.
With plenty of football left in this division the battling sides will not want to end their year just yet so look out for the odd upset or two.
