Burringbar continue their march towards the Tursa Premier League.
In difficult conditions last weekend Burringbar again showed that they have the fortitude to take out the First Division Title with a tough 1 - 0 win over fellow contenders South Lismore.
By all accounts Souths pushed the Bandits all the way but were unlucky not to have picked up anything from their trip north. The big positive for the hoops was a return to form following their midweek mauling by the Bangalow Bluedogs.
Unfortunatley for the Dogs they were not able to capitalise on their midweek result being held to a 2- 2 draw by Alstonville. This result allowed Tweed Heads to again push for the second promotion spot and will now set up a cracker on Sunday when Tweed meet Bangalow in what could be their season decider.
