Tursa move to support Pre-Season competitions
Tursa Employment & Training have moved their support of football from the Men’s Premier League over to the coveted pre-season competitions in a shift of focus for the regions largest employment agency.
The ANZAC Cup and the Callan McMillan Memorial Shield will now wear the badge of Tursa with marketing manager Glenn Costello pleased at the change of focus.
“Our long standing committment to football on the far north coast has always been fresh and focused on innovation and change. The move to change support from the Premier League to the Pre-Season fits in with our philisophy of providing opportunities to people to gain initial employment, the Tursa Pre-season will also fill that transitional role of helping players get back into shape and prepare for the long year ahead,” Costello said.
The Tursa Pre-season for 2007 will provide competition for men in the ANZAC Cup in Premier Division, Open A Open B and Grade 16, while the Callen McMillan Shield will give our local women the chance to prepare in A Division, B Division and for the first time a Grade 16 competition.
